Finnish handset firm, Nokia has officially launched the company's affordable phablet Lumia 1320 and a budget smartphone Lumia 525 in India.
Nokia has priced Lumia 1320 and Lumia 525 - Rs. 23,999 and Rs.10,399 respectively, which are said to be made available in the stores across the country this week.
Nokia Lumia 1320, the less expensive sibling of the recently released flagship phablet Lumia 1520 (Rs.46,999), sports a similar 6.0-inch display size, but with a lower resolution HD (720x1280p) IPS LCD screen having a pixel density of 245 ppi (pixels per inch).
Under the hood, it features Windows Phone 8 OS, 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 64GB), 5.0-megapixel camera (with LED flash, two-stage auto-focus and full HD video recording features), a VGA (0.3-megapixel) camera on the front and a 3400 mAh battery.
It is also the first Windows Phone to use a Full HD 1080P display and run on a quad-core processor, both of which have become standard fare on Android flagships for quite some time now.
Other than raising the Windows Phone platform to parity with the Android competition on the hardware front, the 6-inch smartphone also packs a 20-megapixel PureView camera with RAW image support.
