Fujitsu has undoubtedly a very good market reputation worldwide for digital cameras, video recorders and other camera optics related accessories but who would have guessed that one day Fujitsu would be interested in making mobile phones.
Although we are not sure whether their products are good or bogus but still I expect them to show some real flare via their handsets because without something new and original, they are just going to end up like Lemon or Pine or GeeFive, nameless and identity less.
We have come to know that Fujitsu has embedded their skills in photography and optics to mobile phones. Yeah! Surprisingly one of their phones has a 12.2 MP camera. This sounds familiar as recently revealed Nokia N8 and Spice S-1200 also have a 12.2 MP Camera.
Fujitsu has also customized their phones’ user interface called NX to make them exclusive. Some of its phones have chosen one of the most reliable operating system in this universe; you guessed it – Android OS.
Fujitsu cell phones are also made compatible with Indian environment due to addition of water-resistant and dust resistant body, display screen and keypad.
We have heard of phones that have dual input methods – touchscreen and QWERTY keypad, Nokia N97 Mini for example. We have also seen phones having triple input methods, touchscreen, QWERTY keypad and optical trackpad, Motorola Charm but have you ever heard of detachable phones?
Fujitsu has come up with this new idea to make detachable phone, I am not sure the reason why they are so intrigued about that but surprisingly this can make their phones work like two separate devices.
You can use phone like flip phone with keypad and then remove the keypad to have a smart, sleek and slim touchscreen device. Now that is something, I must say.
Finals Words for Fujitsu Mobile Phones
Companies today are spreading their names in everything they can; it won’t surprise me if Nokia comes up with its own tablet PC in a few months.
So, it is not a big deal if Fujitsu have decided to storm the smartphone sector.
When Creative, a brand known specifically for creating audio systems and headphones can create an Android Tablet PC for itself, anything is possible.
I have no idea what future holds for Fujitsu smartphone but one thing is for sure, if Fujitsu mobile phones are launched in India, they are going to face some real competition.
