Vodafone launches world’s cheapest mobile phones

Mobile operator gaint Vodafone will announce TWO new mobile phones which are said to be the cheapest in the world. Say hello to the Vodafone 150 and the 250, the phones will be sold for $15 (Rs. 700).

The Vodafone 150 and Vodafone 250 offer expected voice and SMS services and packs in quite a few features.


With these 2 mobile phone launches Vodafone expects they will reach 60 % of the mobile users in India.

The 250 boasts of a 5-way navigation key, a 1.45-inch CSTN display, 128×128 pixels, FM radio and stereo ,wallpapers, polyphonic ringtones, alarm clock, calculator, currency converter and 2 embedded games.

The Vodafone 150 will is priced at around $15 (Rs. 700) and the Vodafone 250 will be priced at around $20 (Rs. 900)
