Sony Ericsson Satio specification India price and launch date

For now we have seen 12 mega pixel camera phones like Samsung Pixon12 and LG GC990 Louvre. Satio ( code named Idou) is the upcoming high end 12 mega pixel camera mobile from Sony Ericsson . Satio was initially introduced a MWC in 2009 . The code name Idou lasts only weeks as later it was officially renamed to Satio .Sony Ericsson Satio specification includes the major 12 mega pixel autofocus camera with xenon flash , 3.5 inch massive touch screen, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, USB v2.0, GPS, 256 MB ARM, 100 MB integrated memory and memory card slot for expansion upto 16 GB . The phone will be using Symbain OS S60 V5 touch just like in Nokia N97, Nokia 5800 Xpress Music ,and Nokia 5530 Xpress music . The price of the phone will be around 800 $ considering its capabilities and competition.

Sony Ericsson Satio uses Symbain OS S60 V5 . This is one of the plus point of the phone when it comes to softwares applications ,themes are other goodies . Music and video quality will be awesome just like in any Sony Ericsson phone .Sony Ericsson Satio will be using Walkman player , and there will be a Satio media center for managing music and videos . DivX and Xvid support in Samsung Pixon12 is not available on Sony Ericsson Satio . But you can use DivX converter and DivX mobile player to play those formats .

Considering the pricing scheme of other phones with same facilities ,Sony Ericsson Satio will cost around 40000 (800$) in Indian market . The phone will be launched in September 2009
